Novo Grid
About Novo
Novo Innovations and TechSource have teamed up to provide a unique way to deliver electronic results and reports to our affiliated physician practices (including Lab, Radiology, Pathology, OR, Admit, and Discharge Summaries) – called the Novo Grid. The Novo Grid is a new system that automatically captures your results and reports as soon as they are posted in TechSource’ information systems, then securely delivers it to you based on the rules and preferences you define.
For example:
- Data can be captured, delivered and automatically inserted directly into your ambulatory EMR without requiring staff to handle or process the information.
- If you do not have an EMR, data can be captured, delivered and stored on a PC in your office. Staff can access and print the information—and it can be stored on the PC as long as you need it. The Grid leaves you in charge of what information you receive and how you want to use it.
The Grid is highly secure. Information is not centralized or made available on the Internet—instead, it is delivered directly to your office, for your use only. Whenever data is sent to you, it is encrypted in such a way that only you can open it.
If you have an EMR, the Grid offers a way of both reducing staff time and increasing the quality of information you receive (e.g. discreet data), enabling the full use of the capabilities of your EMR.
The Grid is simple to install. Novo and TechSource work with your EMR vendor to perform the interface work—all you need to do is have the interfaces installed and ready, let us work with your EMR administrator for a few hours, and we do the rest.
